| Hi, my name is Sandy Love. I have owned and operated Sandy's Kennels for over 16 years. I am the parent of 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. We are located at two locations: 820 S Brazos, Lockhart, Texas 78664, and 468 Davis Drive, Thorndale, Texas 76577. I have worked in the medical profession as a nurse for the last 25 years. With my medical background I understand the importance of good genetic breeding and healthy animals. Mom whelps her puppies in my house and they are kept inside until they go to their new home, or until they are immunized and at least 6-8 weeks old. All our puppies come with a Puppy Guarantee (see Puppy Guarantee). I breed for the improvement of each particular breed, the love of the breeds, and for family pets. I have both AKC (American Kennel Club) and/or CKC (Continental Kennel Club). I handle three breeds, the Lhaso Apso, Boston Terrier, and Chinese Pug. For that special occasion when you would like to surprise a loved one, arrangements can be made to board your new puppy for up to 10 days (at no cost) after the puppy is purchased. For puppies left after 10 days there is a $10.00 a day boarding fee. I do take deposits of 1/2 the price of the puppy on new born puppies to hold them until they are old enough to leave their mom. At what age the puppy leaves mom depends on the welfare of each individual puppy. ****SHIPPING**** I only ship with Continental Airlines due to their air controlled compartments. The airline cost of shipping depends on the kennel weight with the puppy in the kennel. There is also the cost of a kennel and a visit to the vet for the special health certificate required by the airline. Total shipping cost for a puppy plus his/her kennel that is 9 lbs and below is $275.00. Total shipping cost for a puppy plus his/her kennel that is 10 lbs and above is $300.00. These prices includes the visit to the vet for the special health certificate, flight and the kennel. |
